Unleash your inner spy as you play as James Bond in Goldeneye 007. Using a combination of weapons and gadgets to infiltrate enemy bases you will unleash terror on your foes. Among those weapons include the classic Bond Walther PPK.
The Goldeneye 007 release for Xbox cloudgaming has seen some changes to the control structure. Dual control stick is supported with the left controlling movement and right controlling aim. You can also move, aim and fire at the same time. Previously on Nintendo 64, you could not move and aim at the same time when playing Goldeneye 007.
It’s a cool feature, but seems to make the player a little over powered as the enemies have not had their accuracy updated. They still seem to miss the player even when shooting right at you!
Resolution has had an upgrade with Goldeneye 007 and now supports 16:9 aspect ratio. There is an improvement, but you can still notice visual distortion on larger TVs.
The iconic soundtrack is still kept in tack, as well as the iconic sound effects from bullets ricocheting and the slap sound of beating your enemies with your hand or the butt of the gun.
Goldeneye 007 on Xbox Game Pass cloudgaming has a single-player mode and a multiplayer mode. The single-player mode consists of 20 missions, each with different objectives and difficulties. You can unlock cheats and bonus levels by completing the missions in a certain time or with a certain score. The multiplayer mode allows you to play with up to four players on the same screen, using split-screen technology. You can choose from various modes, such as deathmatch, capture the flag, and team deathmatch. You can also customize the rules, such as the weapons, the health, and the characters.
